How to dry the device?

NOWDSF360 - Round sensor

Once the round detector detects water, you must dry it before you can reset the alarm. Usually you can wipe it off with a cloth. There must no longer be any water on the sensor and also where the sensor is positioned.

Typically, the sensor is submersible to some degree. On the other hand, if water accumulates inside the sensor, the battery and/or the printed circuit may be damaged and render the sensor inoperative following its detection of water. It is recommended to open the round detector using a small, flat, round screwdriver (the same procedure as for replacing the battery). Once the detector is opened, it is recommended to dry the sensor with cloths. You can also use a dryer to remove any traces of moisture on the circuit board. It is important to use the dryer in moderation so as not to damage the circuit board due to the heat.
